The California Honey Festival’s mission is to promote honey and honey bees
and their products to a broader public.

This festival was created to help develop an interest in beekeeping by the
younger generation as well as to educate the public to support honey and
their beekeepers. Bees are also under threat by disease, climate change. It
is important for the community to appreciate and understand the importance
of bees as our master pollinators and how important they are to our food
diversity here in the United States..” A festival celebrating the honeybee.

The California Honey Festival combines the educational parts of beekeeping,
the entertaining, and the simply delicious rewards of beekeeping. From
beekeeping classes to honey-themed dinners, honey tastings, cooking
demonstrations to kids’ activities the festival drawing deep from
agricultural aspects of the Yolo County. This Honey Festival in Downtown
Woodland CA is a free, family-friendly festival featuring art, wine, beer,
food, music, kids’ arts and crafts, vendors, and, of course, honey galore!
